Who makes Sortir au Mans
A couple, a few families, a platform built at home. That's the team.
Téodor and Hélène
Sortir au Mans is run on a volunteer basis by Téodor and Hélène, a couple from Le Mans. They're parents, and like everyone else they're looking for the perfect weekend outing.
The site is free for you and has no ads. You'll find the events calendar, the directory of clubs and associations, the Thursday newsletter and the Instagram account @sortiraumans.
Since September 2026, they also go and see clubs, associations and venues in person. That's the "On y est allés" ("We were there") section: they show up, they try things out, they tell the story. The organization reads the write-up to check the facts.
The families who help us
We're not alone. Friends' families lend us a hand: they spot outings, proofread, take photos and try out the activities with us.
Thank you to them. Without them, the calendar would be a lot emptier.
The homemade platform and its AI agents
Yes, we say it proudly: the platform is "highly technological". Above all, it's built at home, as a family, with Téodor and Hélène's kids.
It relies on several artificial intelligence agents. They collect and check dates, and prepare the listings and the newsletter. But every publication is still reviewed by a human.
Collect
One agent goes through the websites of venues, clubs and ticketing sites to spot dates.
Check
Another cross-checks the info: dates, times, addresses. Anything doubtful is set aside.
Tell the story
A third prepares the listings and the newsletter. Then a human reads everything before it's published.
How it works
1. Discover
Browse the calendar, filter by category or go looking for your next outing on the map of Le Mans and the Sarthe.
2. Submit
Do you organize or know of an event that's missing? Fill in the form in a few minutes, no account needed.
3. Share
Every event listing can be shared in one click, to help local outings find their audience.
An outing to share?
Submit your event and we'll review it and publish it quickly.
