Sortir au Mans is a personal, independent site. For any question there is a single address: the Submit an event form, which lets you contact us.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, on its infrastructure located in the European Union.

Personal data

When you submit an event, the contact email address you provide is never published on the site or passed on to third parties. It is used only, if needed, to get in touch with you about your submission. No personal data is ever sold, and the site does not use third-party tracking cookies.

When you close or accept one of the site's prompts (newsletter, Instagram), your browser keeps the date in its local storage, without a cookie, only so as not to show it to you again. This information never leaves your device and does not identify anyone. Traffic statistics count page views, not visitors: no identifier is stored on your device.

The submission form also keeps the IP address the submission was sent from. It is never displayed as is, even to the team that reviews submissions: it is used only to spot abuse of the form (mass submissions, bots) and to give the person handling a submission an approximate context, namely the city it seems to have been posted from.

The base maps are provided by OpenFreeMap, using data © OpenStreetMap contributors.

Photo credits

Event posters come from their respective organizers and are used for promotional purposes, in keeping with the site's informational purpose. The photos illustrating venues come from Wikimedia Commons (CC BY, CC BY-SA or public domain licenses, with the credit shown on each venue page concerned) or from the venues' own official websites.

Data sources

Part of the events calendar is built from DATAtourisme , the national open tourism data platform run by the French ministry in charge of tourism. This data is produced by tourist offices and released under the Licence Ouverte 2.0. Each event listing from this source links back to its original entry on DATAtourisme and mentions the license. The other events come directly from their organizers or from public sources cited on each listing.

All the texts, visuals and graphic elements specific to Sortir au Mans are protected by copyright. The published events come from their respective organizers or from public sources; any reproduction must respect their rights.
