Ce qu'on appelle civilisation – Grand Maximum

Visuel du spectacle, collectif Grand Maximum (diffusé par Le Rabelais)

In “Ce qu’on appelle civilisation,” Sébastian Lazennec and 15 non-professional actors from Grand Maximum once again confront us with our contradictions, staging a show that moves between brutal lucidity, emotion and bursts of laughter.

A creation that unfolds like a gentle, cruel autopsy of our era, where monstrousness has become ordinary. A sharp chronicle in which we laugh, sometimes uneasily, at situations, collective behavior, our small cowardices, our automatic reflexes and our fears.

A show like a dissection without anesthesia, yet run through with deep humanity. A comedy whose writing suggests that nothing is fixed, that everything stays alive and is improvised. And one where we laugh so we don't have to look too long at what wounds us.
