Charles Froger, or the Wanderings of a Priest-Photographer

The Le Mans diocesan library brings out a previously unseen family collection of photographs by Abbé Charles Froger (1885–1953), a priest from the Sarthe who documented his life and times in the first third of the 20th century with a stereoscopic camera on glass plates. About 150 of the 300 surviving images are shown for the first time. Opening on September 22 at 6:30 PM, then free viewing Monday through Friday, 9 AM–6 PM.
