On stage

  • La Faux Populaire – Le Mort aux Dents

Company of Julien Candy and Juliette Christmann: object manipulation, acrobatics and cabaret.

The show

La Faux Populaire invites you to a cabaret under the Chapiteau: tables are set, glasses fill, and an intimate world unfolds. From crystalline manipulations to bicycle acrobatics, from ballistic clashes to surprises, the show explores the strange, universal need to live as a pair: an encounter between two hundred guests and two artists that sheds light, joyfully, playfully and sensitively, on the constant duality of life as a couple.

Conceived by Julien Candy and Juliette Christmann, by La Faux Populaire – Le Mort aux Dents. Previously presented in June 2025 during the Le Mans fait son Cirque festival. Recommended from age 6. Runtime: 1 hr 20 min. February 9–14, 2027 (free childcare with registration on Saturday the 13th at 7 PM). Bonus: screening of Retour vers le futur 2 in English with French subtitles on February 14 at 8:30 PM at Les Cinéastes.
