Le Mans FC hosts AS Monaco at the Stade Marie-Marvingt, a fixture of strong symbolic value for the Sarthe club. After sixteen years away, Le Mans FC has returned to the top flight of French football this season, following a successful run in Ligue 2. That promotion lets the Le Mans stadium host Ligue 1 for the first time since it opened. Facing AS Monaco, the historic club of the Principality, used to European competition, the Manceaux are playing one of the most anticipated matches of their comeback season in the elite. The game, like all McDonald’s Ligue 1 matches, is scheduled for a weekend and broadcast live on Ligue 1+. The club invites supporters to come out in force to the stadium and offers season tickets and tickets through its official online ticket office, as well as on-site sales at La Pincenardière, Monday through Friday.
