The Maison du Pilier-Rouge (Tourism and Heritage department of the City of Le Mans) offers a guided tour of the Pôle européen du cheval, led by a licensed guide. That Saturday also features the Concours des Boutiques, a national-level show-jumping competition: a chance to see the facilities in full competition mode.
Meet at 3:00 PM in front of the reception at the Grand Hall, route de Feumusson in Yvré-l'Évêque (visitor parking at Pôle 4). Booking recommended at the Maison du Pilier-Rouge: 02 43 47 40 30.
