On stage
Cirque du Corbak
Contemporary circus company, creator of VOûTE (Chinese pole, acrobatic lifts, floor acrobatics).
The show
Where acrobatic lifts, Chinese pole and floor acrobatics meet, VOûTE explores human relationships under tension, the need to act together, and the resilience of bodies. On stage, three acrobats (Uma Pastor, Marine Robquin, Antonin Cucinotta), accompanied by musician Théo Armengol, move through highs and falls, tender conflicts and playful embraces: an exploration of inner storms and the calm after the tempest.
Les Émergences presents three works nearing completion, drawn from France's national higher schools of circus arts and the Artcena Nouvelles Vagues program, shown at EVE – Scène universitaire as part of the “Retour vers le futur” chapter of the Plongeoir season. Recommended from age 7. Runtime: 50 minutes.
