More about Tépacap Le Mans

Tépacap Le Mans is a 7-hectare outdoor adventure park set in the heart of the Arche de la Nature, the Le Mans city's large natural and educational site. The park offers treetop courses for all levels and ages (starting at a very young age with the “Monde des Pitchouns”), along with a wide range of outdoor activities: laser tag, paintball, gellyball, bubble foot, mini golf, orienteering, geotrack (a geolocated treasure hunt) and electric scooters. Picnic areas, a snack bar and a food area round out the offer, and it is reachable by Tram T2, Espal-Arche de la nature stop.

Tépacap Le Mans is labeled Qualité Tourisme and emphasizes environmentally responsible management. It positions itself as a family or friends outing for a day of adventure in nature, just a few minutes from downtown Le Mans.

A bit of history

Tépacap Le Mans belongs to the national Tépacap network, which began in 2003 in Savenay (Loire-Atlantique), the first site in the département to offer treetop adventure courses, which were then almost unknown in France. The network took shape from 2005 under Alain Heit, France's first maker of treetop course equipment and an expert in AFNOR safety standards for this type of installation. Several parks have since joined the brand across France, including Le Mans, Toulouse, Bitche, Vendée and Anjou.

Located in the Arche de la Nature, a vast natural and educational area developed by the City of Le Mans, the park runs on a seasonal schedule: closed from mid-November to mid-March, reopening each spring.
