Elisabeth Buffet in Mes histoires de cœur

In “Mes histoires de cœur,” Elisabeth Buffet looks back on her own romantic and sexual experiences, or more precisely on their flops: “Well, my flops, otherwise it's not funny,” she warns right away. From Cap d'Agde to Pornic, passing through restaurants in the dark and a surreal thalassotherapy spa, the comedian runs through her romantic failures with a sharp sense of self-deprecation, so that we laugh with her rather than cry alone.

Born in 1965 in Toulon, Elisabeth Buffet first had a career in marketing before turning to comedy in 2005. She quickly won the title of “French comedy revelation” at the Juste pour rire festival in Montreal, then multiplied Paris stages: the Petit Gymnase, the Théâtre de 10 heures, and finally the Olympia in January 2012. Her style, direct and corrosive, relies on a bold self-deprecation that made her reputation, including memorable sketches such as the one about nudism.

With “Mes histoires de cœur,” she continues along this path, this time tackling love life and the small (and big) humiliations that come with it. The one-hour show is billed for all audiences and takes place on November 13, 2026 at Comédie Le Mans, 37 rue Nationale. On billetreduc it holds a 9/10 rating based on 155 reviews, a sign of a very favorable reception.

A sincere, frank stand-up moment, for laughing at your own heartbreaks as much as ours.
