Monthly Book and Vinyl Market

Every month, booksellers and record dealers gather on the Esplanade du Bourg d’Anguy, at the foot of the Émeraude tower, for this specialized flea market celebrating its third year. Nestled between numbers 52 and 63 of avenue Charles de Gaulle, the esplanade turns for a day into a large open-air market for lovers of paper and music.
You’ll find something for collectors and the curious alike: old and new books, bibliophile works, old papers and postcards, comics, plus CDs and vinyl of every era and style. Run by a local nonprofit, the event favors direct contact between passionate sellers and treasure hunters, in a human-scale format that encourages conversation about your finds.
The event takes place Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 6 PM, with free admission for visitors. Public transit makes the site easy to reach, served by the Comtes du Maine and Place de la République tram lines, both less than 200 meters from the esplanade. On site, purchases can be paid by card, check, or cash, for simplicity for both visitors and sellers. A great outing for vinyl fans, first editions, or simply for wandering among the stalls in search of a literary or musical gem.
