Hot Club le Mans is a collective of musicians from the Sarthe who gather around gypsy jazz. Its name pays tribute to the famous string quintet of the Hot Club de France, led by guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stéphane Grappelli.
Its members: saxophonist Élie Nourry, the two guitarist friends Jean Guyomarc'h and Léo Grenapin, renowned Parisian violinist Bastien Ribot and double bassist Matthieu Torsat from Tours. The five musicians revisit Django's standards, blending virtuosity, camaraderie and a distinctly personal touch in a warm, festive atmosphere.
